30 min Village walkInto the tea gardens and the settlement of Lugao — the cultivars grown around Sun Moon Lake, and the village that grew up with them.

90 min Brewing practiceWorking mainly with Sun Moon Lake black tea and Nantou oolong, using several kinds of brewing vessel. Practising in small groups, you get a first feel for how cultivar, processing and brewing change what ends up in the cup.

We start from the beginning. If you have never paid attention to a cup of tea before, this is a good place to start.

We arrange each visit with the partner farmers, so we need a little notice before we can confirm a date.
